Jet Cook™ sales continue to grow

The new year has begun with an exciting start for DC Norris with 2 new orders and a busy first week running customer trials in the test kitchen.

This comes off the back of a successful growth of Jet Cook sales from 2017-2018, as the technology is now becoming the recognised industry standard for the production of soups, sauces, desserts and ready meals.  We are also now getting enquiries and trial requests from other industries outside of ready meals which has opened up exciting new avenues for the technology.

Between Christmas and the New Year we received the first order of a new Jet Cook™ Steam Infusion System which is for the production of Ethnic sauces.  The order came from an existing DC Norris customer who is a global chilled food producer based in the UK.  The system comes complete with our world-leading In-Tank Jet Cook™ units, Braising Bar and patented Recipe Manager system to control system and log cooking times, processing stages, log kills, weights and yields.

The system will reduce the processing time of the customers sauces by up to 50% and give superior particulate integrity and flavour.

We will start Jet Cook operator, NPD and process training in mid-February at our UK test facility, and we anticipate the system being ready for delivery in March 2019.
