Jet Cook in Northern India

Last week we installed a Ready-2-Cook Steam Jacketed Kettle complete with Jet Cook™ into a large food manufacturer in Northern India.

The tilting kettle is our latest model with re-designed and improved features, and will be used for the production of Dal and traditional Indian products.

The company has a multibillion $ turn-over and more than 5,000 employees. They export approximately 70% of their products to the UK, USA, Middle East and Australia.

The vegetarian product range are traditional Indian recipes made using the basic principles of Indian cooking such as crackling spices and cooking for a long period of time at high temperature to release the oils from the ingredients (also known as Rogan.)

The features of this Ready-2-Cook System, such as the high temperature Braising System, are able to replicate the traditional Indian cooking methods whilst also reducing the cook time.   The Recipe Manager software controls the entire process giving repeatable product quality every cook.   

We will be re-visiting the customer in February for some additional Jet Cook product and engineering training.
