Jet Cook™ impresses Sauce Manufacturer during Product & Process Training

Today marks the 5th day of Product and Process Training for a company in the North East of England, who has spent more than £1m with DC Norris on new manufacturing equipment.    We have been working with Operations, NPD as well as Processing to trial their existing and new products for the upgraded production area, which included Jet Cook™ Systems, Bespoke Gantries, Tumble Chillers, Holding Vessels, Pump Fill Stations as well as Services.

Béchamel, Peppercorn and Tikka are just some of the recipes we have trialled so far, with the new equipment managing to dramatically reduce the processing time and processing stages.

The software driving the systems allows the operator to transfer the product from low risk to high care, directly into holding vessels which then divert to the Pump Fill Station, before being loaded into a Tumble Chiller.  By using a flow plate arrangement, the operator can then fully clean the vessel and transfer pipework whilst the product in the holding vessel is being deposited.
