Jet Cook™ breaks into the food market in India

Over the last 18 months we have visited several large potential customers along with our agents Essemm Food Tech in many cities throughout India, and presented the Jet Cook™ Technology. The benefits of Jet Cook™ to the Indian market are slightly different to other markets due to labour costs and other factors that greatly affect their ROI.

Following on from these visits and attendance at the Anutec Exhibition last year, this week we have received our first order from India for a Jet Cook™ Steam Infusion System complete with Braising Bar and Recipe Manager. Our customer produces ambient gravies, masalas and dhal (which are a major part of the Indian diet) to restaurants, retailers and hotels.

The crackling of the spices and the release of the oil is absolutely key to the base of this traditional product*, and the combination of the Jet Cook™, Braising Bar and Recipe Manager make this crucial part of the process repeatable every time, no matter who is cooking the product.

We are delighted to be working with this major Indian Food company whom will be supported locally by our agents Essemm Food Tech.

Product training will take place at our UK Product Development Kitchen in February.

*Unlike curries/masalas and gravies produced in other countries which use pastes.
